Today were working on a assignment on the computer because the teacher isn't here. We have to write 5 paragraphs on all the religions we went over.
Christianity has a number of adherents that are around 2.2 billion, which is the largest in the world. There called Christians because that's there core name in the religion. They are geographically located in Europe, America, and southern Africa. There denominations are Catholic church, protestant, Baptist, and angelicins. There one and only founder is Jesus Christ. There beliefs are that Jesus is human and the divine son of God. Christianity represents up to 31.,4% of the world population. It has three major branches Roman catholic, protestant, and Orthodox. Roman Catholics comprise approximately 50% of the worlds Christians and orthodox around 12%.
Islam has the second largest population in the world. They are call them Muslims . There beliefs are Abrahamic, and monotheistic. Meaning that there is only one god. They are geographically located in Indonesia, middle east, and north Africa. There denomination is Sunnis (75-90%),and Shiites (10-20%). There founder is Muhammad(570-632). There Holy book is the Koran. A lot of people change there name when they switch to Muslim faith. For example Muhammed Ali was not his original name. His original name was Cassius clay. When he switched religions he switched his name to Muhammed. Because they believe in only one God and not the trinity, their beliefs are different then Christians.
Hinduism has a number of adherents about 1.1 billion which is the third largest in the world. They are called Hindus. There geographic location is Nepal, and India. There holy book is the Vedas. They have no founder. Hinduism fills up 15.0% of the world. 97 % of Hindus are concentrated in just one country(India), 2 percent are on Nepal, 1% are in Bangladesh and small numbers are elsewhere. The average Hindu had allegiance to a particular God or concept within a broad range of possibilities.
Buddhism has a number of adherents around 500 million to 1.5 billion. There religious name is Buddhist. There geographic location is Southeast Asia, China, and Japan. They do not believe in God. The founder of Buddhism is Siddhartha Gautama, was born about 563 B.C.in Lumbini in present day Nepal, near the border of India. Also they have four noble truths. The fist one is all living things must endure suffering. Number 2 is Suffering, which is caused by desire to live, leads to reincarnation. Meaning when they die they will come back as something else, such as some type of animal. Number 3 is the goal of all existence is to escape suffering and the endless cycle of reincarnation into Nirvana, which is achieved through mental and moral self purification. Number 4 is Nirvana is attained through an eightfold path: rightness of belief, resolve, speech, action, livelihood, effort, thought, and meditation.

He is the person that God told him that he will have ancestors as numerous as the stars. There holy book is the Torah. The Torah was written in 12BCE. It was given by Moses. There beliefs are Ethical monotheism. That is a form of exclusive monotheism in which God is the source for one standard of mortality; who guides humanity through ethical principles. They believe There is only one God.
